Looking through different resources and activity sheets

A closet of all the materials

We collected data through weekly Zoom meetings with the VBGA staff.

We also did an on-site visit to VanDusen Botanical Garden to understand the camps and field trips. During our trip, we take notes and photographs of the Yosef Wosk Library, classrooms, and the Volunteer Lounge

This project gave me and the team the opportunity to work with a real client with a real problem. There were other challenges such as their expectations and permission from the larger board that we need to consider.

I learned to adapt and compromise with other members to find the best solution as a team. Communication became the key element for both within the team and with our client. With strong communication styles, we were able to explain our design direction with back-up information to the client, leading them to shift their initial ideas of the project.
